My Opinion...

When i first saw the cover page of  "The Giver" one of the most important ideas that came to my mind was that maybe there was these man that even though he lived in a awful life with no money he really enjoyed it a lot with no problems at all, he didn't care what other people think about him, and the least things that he would receive from the people he worked for, he would share them with his friends and poor people that surrounded him as well. Years passed and  suddenly his family started to gain a lot of money because he got an exe lent job, he was reaching almost all of the money in the planet but he would steal give charity, fernature, houses and a bunch of stuff that helped lower classes or poor people rise up to a better place or world. When i read the dedication page i found a sentence that said "For all the children to whom we entrust the future." My first reaction was that this man was looking at a better world with no suffering, he really wanted a chance to show all kinds of people that it really doesn't matter how you look, or who you are or even what you wear, we are all humans and we have the right to respect and help each other. Maybe Lowry was trying to express him self that he wants to create each kid a good and bright future, so he can enjoy his life like we all deserve it. Later on, in this interesting book i think that we will go through parts where people have fun and are kind by showing all their values, but there will be also parts when there is discrimination shown, mistreats, fights, insulting and a lot of suspense happens because when this man starts helping needed people the government starts to prevent it because they think that people in lower classes should stay and receive less then what other people do , thats just the way it works and no one could change it. In the middle of the book, i predict that things start to change and flow because this man convinces the government in some way and people start to loose their fears and are free to join other classes as well.
