A trip by the bushes

                                                          The Veldt

By: Ray Bradbury

Going in to the future, these lovely family lives with all kinds of electronic things, it’s like part of them. They don't realize this is causing them really strange suffers and damage in their brains until something terrible happens. Gorge and Lydia are the owners of the house; they have two kids a girl and a boy. In these time kids instead of using toys they play in an imaginary room such as a nursery, everything they imagined eventually would appear in a huge dimensional screen. Everything goes like it is supposed to until children start to grow and thoughts change, now instead of imagining fury tails they bring real life stories such as African jungles .In the beginning their mother starts to figure out something is going out of usual but their father never realized anything, they thought that the best way to calm their mother nerves is to turn off all the house, but the kids turned it in again, because they couldn't live with ought this  room. Things were really getting out of order, they called their physiologist to figure out the problem or issue so they decided to leave and take a vacation. When the next day arrives by midnight her mother hears screams and they check the room it was empty, their children were taken by the animals and their parents as well. As soon as the physiologist got to their home to start their journey, the entire family was officially  gone and dead.

Imagery showed me how to predict in my head what is going on in the story with real pictures. These phrases must have good explanations with details and descriptive language as well. For example in these text it said "The nursery was silent. It was empty as a jungle glade at hot high". This tells the reader that the kids room was silent and with a really annoying climate (1).

In my opinion I think that Ray Bradbury makes a excellent job when describing the stories structure. The author makes the text feel like it is in real life like we are actually there seeing and touching the scene. They use the words "crystalline", green smell, sky color etc (1).

This shows us that the event happened in a sunny day with clouds and a nice or pretty panorama. Everything seems clear and strong and the effects all seem natural and extraordinary .

I really loved and enjoyed this story very much because besides the adventure it led me, It also showed me and made me analyze a lot of things I never understood. There were two main messages for me, the first one was to always listen to your parent’s instructions and follow them, not always you are going to have the reason or correct words. The second one had to do with the electronic stuff, maybe a world with ought too much of that could led to better results such as a great future with creativity and fun like inspiration and more freedom.

My Opinion...

When i first saw the cover page of  "The Giver" one of the most important ideas that came to my mind was that maybe there was these man that even though he lived in a awful life with no money he really enjoyed it a lot with no problems at all, he didn't care what other people think about him, and the least things that he would receive from the people he worked for, he would share them with his friends and poor people that surrounded him as well. Years passed and  suddenly his family started to gain a lot of money because he got an exe lent job, he was reaching almost all of the money in the planet but he would steal give charity, fernature, houses and a bunch of stuff that helped lower classes or poor people rise up to a better place or world. When i read the dedication page i found a sentence that said "For all the children to whom we entrust the future." My first reaction was that this man was looking at a better world with no suffering, he really wanted a chance to show all kinds of people that it really doesn't matter how you look, or who you are or even what you wear, we are all humans and we have the right to respect and help each other. Maybe Lowry was trying to express him self that he wants to create each kid a good and bright future, so he can enjoy his life like we all deserve it. Later on, in this interesting book i think that we will go through parts where people have fun and are kind by showing all their values, but there will be also parts when there is discrimination shown, mistreats, fights, insulting and a lot of suspense happens because when this man starts helping needed people the government starts to prevent it because they think that people in lower classes should stay and receive less then what other people do , thats just the way it works and no one could change it. In the middle of the book, i predict that things start to change and flow because this man convinces the government in some way and people start to loose their fears and are free to join other classes as well.
